The requirements of the commercial and leisure sector often dictate we operate in functioning environments where it is essential the wellbeing of non-construction people is maintained whilst minimising impact on the client’s business. Projects have been completed for major retail clients successfully balancing their operational needs against the construction requirements. These include retail parks, new-build and conversion projects and combined residential developments. Many construction methods, materials and finishes have successfully transferred from other sectors. These include steel, glass and concrete, plus major skillsets which include elevator installation, M&E services and masonry restoration. We have experience up to 22 storeys and with floor areas in excess of 6000m².
The strength of our workplace regeneration, supply chain flexibility, planning, management and communication is demonstrated by projects such as the Great Guildford Business Square, Exmouth House and the listed 18 Bedford Square.
We have delivered high specification sports and leisure facilities such as the East London YMCA and sports/multi-use school halls. Furthermore, inclusive community spaces such as the Fitzrovia Community Centre and the Hub Youth Centre underline our ability to work productively with local groups.
High profile projects include upgrading the iconic Piccadilly Circus electronic advertising displays; restoration and new facilities in the architecturally and commercially sensitive Covent Garden Market.
Our ecclesiastical experience is multi-denominational having built new churches in Manor Park and converted Mill Hill Methodist church. Other projects include synagogues, mosques, Catholic and Anglican premises where the new-build aspects were combined with the existing building fabric.
