Kind maintains a highly stable work force of 75 permanent employees and approximately 150 regular sub-contractors. High levels of loyalty across all disciplines both on-site and at head office have been achieved with a balance of long serving employees, newer starters and trainees. This loyalty stems from planned investment in our people and a culture of contribution that ensures practical and theoretical suggestions are welcomed, evaluated and acted upon.

We have clear lines of responsibility and communication. By treating people fairly with comprehensive training and reward packages, our stability benefits all company stakeholders: employees, projects and clients. Confirming this commitment, our Investors in People accreditation was renewed for the third time in 2012.

We have an exceptionally good health & safety record. Our people receive extensive training that meets current legislation and are equipped with the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) for their roles. Site Managers, Projects Managers and Directors have achieved the CITB 5-Day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) accreditation. All Directors and several employees are members of the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB).
