Joining the company in 1985, Tony is Kind & Company’s longest serving Projects Manager and someone who has seen the company and the industry adapt and change considerably over the intervening years. With several career options available, he chose to pursue the varied and practical route into construction where day-to-day technical challenges, logical sequencing and problem solving suited his analytical outlook.
An HND in Building and Administration coupled with a higher level NVQ in Management, supplemented the experience he has gained from working for a flexible and varied principal contractor. Tony’s portfolio of work covers all of our sectors of operation and, with completed projects valued in excess of £10M, his role in the success of the company is assured. It has also placed him in a position to teach, motivate and mentor junior members of staff – many of whom have progressed their own careers on the back of experience gained with Tony.
His open and affable approach to the encouragement of others extends to his life away from the company where he has spent decades playing for and coaching his local rugby team. Tony received an award from the Jack Petchey Foundation in recognition of his work in youth development.
