Tony Rickard

Senior Projects Manager

With family links to the construction industry and a desire not to follow a desk-bound career path, Tony joined Kind & Company in 1995 as a Surveyor. He graduated with BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). During his time with the company he has progressed from Surveyor to Senior Projects Manager and has delivered many projects across multiple sectors including residential, care, education and commercial.

As Senior Projects Manager, he is responsible for resourcing each contract effectively, overseeing all aspects of each project delivery including construction, financial, health and safety and ensuring each scheme is delivered to the highest standards and to the satisfaction of our clients.

He has exceptional technical construction knowledge and has many valued links with both professionals and specialist members of our supply chain. He is pragmatic, thorough and respectful which has no doubt helped him to build relationships and trust within the industry. He thrives on the challenge seeing a project through from contract award to completion.

Tony enjoys variety and the day-to-day challenges of making something from nothing – producing something tangible. Out of that is the drive to solve problems and bring order. There is also the question of innovation and application of MMC to satisfy the need for improvements in the built environment.

Away from work, Tony is family orientated. He has an interest in personal health and fitness, having undertaken several nuclear race mud-runs and bootcamp sessions close to his home.
