Essex Housing Award Winners 2022

We had a fantastic night last night at the Essex Housing Awards and are very proud to announce… we won the award for Excellence in Development – Medium Schemes (26-50 Homes) for our completed project Beaconsfield Place (Calcutta Road). 

This development was recognised for playing a significant role in meeting essential housing needs for residents in Tilbury Thurrock, in particular addressing the requirement for providing older (over 55) residents in this part of Tilbury with new homes. 

As well as addressing the housing needs of this region of Essex, the scheme was also commended for its contribution to enhancing the local community and public realm. Offering communal gardens and public recreational facilities such as an outdoor gymnasium - promoting and facilitating an area of wellbeing for the entire local community to enjoy. 

Our delivery team were thrilled to be able to pick up this award last night and our Commercial Manager Brad, who accepted the award on behalf of the team said:

‘I would like to thank the entire team for all their hard work in delivering this fantastic scheme for the residents of Tilbury.  This project was delivered during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought with it a series of unprecedented challenges which we all had to overcome. So, I would like to say a special thanks to our client Thurrock Council, design architects PTE who are also in the room tonight and the entire extended delivery team, for working with us to ensure we built a meaningful, quality scheme that will have a positive impact on this community.’
