Kind Fundraisers Pound the Streets for Cancer

Five members of our Croydon office recently undertook a 13km run to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. The route, which started and finished at Airport House, visited each of the three sites we are undertaking for the London Borough of Sutton at Richmond Green, Century House and Ludlow Lodge. The runners also stopped off at the offices of Sutton Council en route. Refreshments were provided to the runners at each of the sites. The run coincided with a men's health awareness event promoted by the council and with Kind & Company matching money contributed at and prior to the run, a total of £1,000 was raised.
A few weeks earlier, Communications Manager, Phil Polley undertook the overnight Shine17 walking marathon for Cancer Research UK. He completed the 26.2 mile course in just under eight and a half hours having started at 10.25pm and finishing at 6.49am the following morning. With donations from the company, colleagues and friends, Phil raised over £1,000 for the charity.
