Lexden Gardens gets a visit from the We Are Colchester Board 

Last week we along with our client Essex Housing welcomed the We Are Colchester Board on to site at Lexden Gardens to bring them an update on the first phase of the re-development of the former Essex County Hospital site located in Colchester.

Phase one, which we were appointed to deliver for our client, will bring 63 of the 120 new homes planned for the site once completed.  Under the first phase we are pleased to be involved with conserving key features within the existing grade II listed main block of the former hospital, whilst also delivering a further two blocks and carrying out significant infrastructure and landscaping works.

This visit follows on from the ground-breaking ceremony which took place last year. 

The project continues into 2026, and we look forward to bringing further updates as the scheme progresses.
