Women Into Construction Celebration

Last week we were delighted to attend the Women into Construction CIC ‘Employment Programme Celebratory Event’. 

It was great to catch up with Oriana Fernandez who was one of 3 women who joined us for a work placement under this programme. We were delighted to offer these women a broad range of experience during their time with us – meeting and working with many different people who have varying roles within our organisation – from marketing and pre-construction through to contract delivery. We also visited a number of our Passivhaus projects in Newham! 

During the work placements, we aimed to give maximum exposure to offer an insight into all the fantastic career opportunities on offer in the construction industry! We are so happy to have been involved with this programme and look forward to supporting similar future initiatives.
